晚期肿瘤化疗病人服用中等剂量量甲孕酮对提高生活质量的作用

摘要：Objective To study the effect of medroxyprogesterone on body weight loss,myelosuppression, anorexia and quality of life (QOL) in patients with advanced neoplasm.Method 37 patients in group A received 200 mg domestic medroxyprogesterone capsule,three times a day for 4 consecutive weeks.37 patients in group B received 500 mg tablet of import medroxyprogesterone,once a day for 4 consecutive weeks. Result Therapeutic effect of domestic and import medroxyprogesterone was similar of group A and B in terms of anoxia,body weight loss,QOL(P >0.05).Side effects included abnormal liver function,edema,and moon shaped face.Conclusion Medroxyprogesterone belongs to supportive therapy for patients with advanced tumor,which can improve QOL.Therapeutic effect of middle dose medroxyprogesterone is satisfying.
